Representative cases include H-1Bs (temporary worker), TNs (NAFTA Professional), L-1A/L-1B (intracompany transferee), E-2 (treaty investor), O-1 (outstanding ability), EB-5 (Immigrant investor), PERM (Labor Cert.), Extraordinary Ability Petitions (EB-1A), Multinational Executives or Managers (EB-1C), EB-2 National Interest Waivers (EB-2 NIW), and Outstanding Professor or Researcher Petitions (EB-1B). Mr. Peterson’s clients range from established companies to start-ups. He also brings his experience as in-house immigration counsel to advise clients on HR immigration compliance matters, including I-9s, LCA Public Access Files, and E-Verify.

Mr. Peterson’s background includes over 8 years with one of the largest international law firms, advising clients in a wide range of industries. Clients included business organizations of all sizes, from single member start-up enterprises to nonprofit organizations to global corporations with thousands of employees. Prior to that, Mr. Peterson worked for over 10 years in-house at one of the largest public research universities in the United States, gaining deep experience with the full range of immigration issues faced by university management, departments, international faculty, research staff and students.
